Box Cameras
As for the box « Eclair » or the box « Spring », the box Eclair Lux was assembled in France by Tiranty, using a license from Coronet.

It is a very classical box, format 6 x 9 cm for 120 film.
The body of the camera is made of metal, its backside is made of paperwork and the whole is covered with black leather.

Ergonomics is similar to the one of other box cameras of the series, especially the box « Eclair ».
The regular wing nut used for film advance installed on most of the Tiranty/Coronet cameras has been replaced by a wheel.

It is equiped with a meniscus lens from Tiranty. Two speeds are offered : Instant and Pause B. The speed selection is possible using a selector located on the top of the camera.
No aperture selection offered.

The main characteristic of this camera was to be equiped of a synchronization for flash as well as a flash fastening located on the left hand.

This camera was produced with different faceplates. Some of them were customized for ads. Here is the red faceface which was the most frequent one.
