The Ultra-FEX 8th model does not escape the rules imposed by the seven previous versions; it has the same form and general characteristics. Distinguishing features of the 8th model are :

Logo "ULTRA" and "FEX"  written in vertical letters,

bullet

The lens Fexar-Optic-Spec is a meniscus Tourret-Narat, it can be recognized due to its blue ring,

bullet

Logo "Himalaya" on the bottom right of the front side (logo which may also not be present !...),

bullet

Three speeds : 1/25sec, 1/50sec and 1/100sec,

bullet

Two apertures labelled "Normal" and "Intense",

bullet

Free reel axis mounted with a small wheel,

bullet

Shutter release located onto the top of the camera,

bullet

Slot for a flash but and synchro,

bullet

Thread for a tripod.
