Some progress in the knowledge of this Tennar camera...

Sergio Balda, who lives in Argentina told me that he owns exactly the same camera as mine. His Tennar belonged to his Grand-Father. On the body of the Sergio's camera is written "Optimar-Salzburg, Made in Austria".
Sergio, who always has good ideas, sent messages in many directions asking for more information. Bingo ! He received a response from David Silver, President of the International Photographic Historical Organization. David confirmed this camera was manufactured by Fototecnica at Turin (Italy) around 1954 and was marketed everywhere in Europe by numerous distributors.

bulletSylvain Halgan confirms that several cameras labelled TENNAR appear in the McKeown with a Fototecnica origin. So... why a "Made in Austria" appears on the Sergio's camera ?

Well... let say that this camera was made somewhere in Europe, between Austria and Italy.

The construction of this camera is of inferior quality.

It is equipped with a Tennar (T, B, 1/25s, 1/50s, 1/100s) shutter.
The lens is Tecnar Anagstigmat 1:6,3 f=105 mm. The focussing is done by rotation of the lens.

There is a retractable viewfinder on the right of the camera.

A trigger button, located on the right of the viewfinder, enables a distant control of the shutter release. This system is similar, in its principle, to the Kinnax II. It is also possible to connect a flexible cable to the shutter.

A strange logo "P & B" decorates the front of the shutter, just below the lens. Maybe that will help some of you to resolve the enigma of this camera ?
