No more a traditional folding but not yet a regular camera, this small 6 x 6
cm is a Subita. It has been produced in Germany in 1953 by the company
DACORA. Its distribution seems to have been very limited.
Opening the front door, releasing the lens and shutter, is done by releasing
a small knob located on the top of the camera, just in front of the
flash-slot. Two solid spring-loaded arms are ensuring a perfect opening of
the front door. The camera is equipped with a shutter Singlo
having two apertures : 6.3 et 11.
It has three speeds : B, 1/25 sec, 1/75 sec and a synchro-flash.
From an optical side, the lens is a Subita
1:6,3 f=75mm
Anastigmat.
Ergonomics are those of the traditional folding cameras. The
shutter release is located directly on the shutter.
