Ikonta 521/16 with lens Novar-anastigmat - 1:3,5 f=75mm and shutter Prontor-S
(1949-1953)

The Ikonta 521/16 is an improved version of the 520/16 model which is decommissioned.

This version provides some imporvement such as a new  shutter release coupled to a double-exposure prevention mechanism.

Along the years, this camera was proposed with different combinaisons of lens/shutter:

bullet Cameras produced from 1940 to 1948.

³ Lens Novar 1:3,5 f=75 mm and shutter Compur
³ Lens Novar 1:4,5 f=75 mm and shutter Klio
³ Lens Tessar 1:3,5 f=75 mm and shutter Compur-Rapid

bullet Cameras produced from 1949 to 1953.
Starting from 1949, lens have been coated and the trigger is synchronized with flash.

As usual with the cameras produced by this manufacturer, the quality is much better than many of its challengers.
