ICarette camera was available in multiple configurations of shutters
and lens.
The model
presented here is equipped with a Compur shutter which offers the
following speeds : T, B, 1s, 1/2s, 1/5s, 1/10s, 1/25s, 1/50s, 1/100s,
1/250s.
The lens is a Carl Zeiss Jena 1:4,5 f=120mm
having the serial number 1184786. This
information tells us this camera has been assembled in 1930 (N°
1020500 to 1239700).
The
focussing is similar to the Cocarette's one. It's done by rotating a
lever which moves the shutter plate ahead and backward
on its rails.
It is also possible to adjust the vertical offsetting by rotating a knob
on the top right of the shutter.
Horizontal and vertical framing are possible using
a rotating reflex viewfinder located on the top of the shutter. It was
also possible to use a large frame attached
on the left of the shutter.
