The Brownie N°2A has the same poor ergonomics as its brother the N°2
model but with a metal body. Its size is bigger as using a format 116
(6.5x11 cm) film.
This camera has been manufactured from 1907 to
1933. During this period many variantes of the Brownie N°2A have been
made. The Camera of my collection is a model C which was produced from 1924
to 1933 (the 1st US licence of Brownie N°2A is dated of October 6th, 1914).
Here is the black version version but the same model also existed in
bright red.
The model C can be easily recognized because of the double frame
decorating its front face.
Due to its rectangular format, its has two holes threaded for use with a
tripod - one on the bottom and one on the
side.
