years ago, I bought a large lot of pictures on glass plates. At this
period of time I was quite busy with my studies so I did not paid enough
attention to it. It
was only recently, when finishing to empty some cardboard boxes of our
last move, that I finally rediscovered all that stuff and then... a true
treasure ! A hundred of
glass plates, covering the period of approximatively 1880 to 1910, was
here, sleeping in my attic and I did not remember it.
Topics are quite exhaustive and in any formats. Picture of soldiers are
numerous, young people, images of the daily life, countrysides, historical
events such as Paris flooded, the July 14th celebration, etc...

The Eiffel tower is brand new and its first floor was not yet disfigured ! Rotunda located close to Paris, in the Vincennes' forest (just behing the Zoo). This charming place still exists.
